29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a) Sunoco Philadelphia Refinery, Maintenance Garage Dept: On or about 8/23/12,the Employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees understood the purpose and the function of the energy control program. ABATEMENT NOTE: Training must be tailored to the requirements of the job responsibility: Employees conducting servicing and maintenance on vehicles must be trained as authorized employees as per 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A) Employees operating vehicles which may be locked out must be trained as affected employees as per 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A) All other employees must be trained as per 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(C)
