29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety nets systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 26, 2012 at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet when they detached their safety harnesses and climbed out of a boom lift onto a ledge located above the windows of the building.
