29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury a) 38 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach, NJ: The employer did not provide training to the employees to recognize and address hazards of the job site. The employees were involved in preforming roofing activity on a residential home and working from a height greater then 12 feet from the ground level. The employees were also working from scaffolding that was not designed or wide enough for the work taking place, observed on or about 4/20/12. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
