29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a) Harrison Bakery Inc., 1306 W Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY - At the fryer. On or about June 18, 2025, employee(s) were assigned to fry doughnuts in cooking oil at approximately 365 degrees. The employer did not assess the workplace to determine what hazards were present and what personal protective equipment was necessitated, including but not limited to heat-resistant gloves, apron, and non-slip shoes.
