29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a.) Mill Area - On or about February 6, 2024, employees performed the service and maintenance task of replacing the Hopper 1 augers. The employer did not ensure periodic inspections of the energy control procedures were performed at least annually as required by the standard. b.) Mill Area - On or about May 8, 2025, employees performed the service and maintenance task of repairing the Borger RR 6000 macerator. The employer did not ensure periodic inspections of the energy control procedures were performed at least annually as required by the standard.
