29 CFR 1910.333(c)(2):The employer did not ensure that qualified persons were capable of working safely on energized circuits and were familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools. Job Site: 200 Braddock Ave, Turtle Creek, PA 15145, On or about February 10, 2025, the employer did not ensure a qualified person had the ability and knowledge to ensure all live electrical parts on CMP-65 container were de-energized before employees connected all electrical components in the circuit panel of the container. Employees were in the process of connecting the wiring from the control panel to the outside bus bar when one employee came in contact with energized wiring that was connected to the batteries. No arc flash personal protective equipment was in use by the employees performing the work.
