29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees. a. On or about January 23, 2025, at the jobsite: the employer exposed employees to caught-in hazards, in that a Lockout-Tagout training programs were not develop for the control of potentially hazardous energy sources when employees service or maintain the Engle E-2000. The employer failed to provide training for recognizing hazardous energy and the methods and means necessary for isolating the equipment for the employee conducting preventive maintenance on the Engle E-2000, exposing the employee to amputation hazards.
