29 CFR 1910.37(e): Employer did not install and maintain an operable employee alarm system that had a distinctive signal to warn employees of fire or other emergencies: a) 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022: On or about January 14, 2025, an ammonia alarm system was not present at the facility to alert employees to the presence of anhydrous ammonia, exposing employees to respiratory hazards. Frozen Food Development, Inc. and its successors were previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.37(e), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1736998, citation number 1, item number 1-b, and was affirmed as a final order on September 24, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
