29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there are potential electrical hazards shall be provided with, and shall use, electrical protective equipment that is appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed. a) On or about November 22, 2024, the employer did not ensure an authorized employee changing out light fixtures on live 277 volts was provided and required to use gloves rated for 277 volts, such as Class 00 rubber insulating gloves.
