29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s) 18 Lincoln Street, New Britain, CT 06052: On or about, December 12, 2024, the Employer failed to adequately initiate and maintain an employee safety and health training program that would provide frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, the materials used, or the equipment being operated. Employee(s) were performing roof remove-repair-replace activities on top of a 3-story, residential apartment building 30-feet above ground, without a competent person first inspecting the worksite, evaluating the safety of the tasks needed performed, or identifying potential safety and/or health hazards and communicating that to Employee(s).
