29 CFR 1926.251(b)(1):Welded alloy steel chain slings shall have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity, and sling manufacturer. a) On or about October 30, 2024,the employer working in the Nursery Gas Pit failed to use an alloy steel chain that had a permanently affixed identification tag provided by the manufacturer. As a result employees were exposed to crushed-by, struck-by hazards.
