29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, 2009 Edition, December 2009 (including Revision 1 dated May 2012 and Revision 2 dated May 2012) - see 1926.6: a) W. Shelley Dr./Darley Rd., Claymont, DE 19703: On or about September 24, 2024, employees were exposed to multiple hazards onsite including but not limited to struck by/ caught in hazards when they performed flagging operations activities. Road signage used did not conform to provide protection for the equipment and employees. Company vehicles and employees were observed exposed when the road signage was not positioned as required by the MUTCD Section 6F.17. b) a) W. Shelley Dr./Darley Rd., Claymont, DE 19703: On or about September 24, 2024, employees were exposed to multiple hazards onsite including but not limited to struck by/ caught in hazards when they performed flagging operations activities. Road signage used did not conform to provide protection for the equipment and employees. Company vehicles and employees were observed exposed when the road signage was not posted as required by the MUTCD Section 6F.37. c) W. The AWP, Inc. dba AWP Safety was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.200(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1677539, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/18/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 15707 N. Expressway 281 Edinburg, Tx 78541. The AWP, Inc. dba Area Wide Protective was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.200(g)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1736165, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 6-3-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 5619 Wilson Mills Rd. Highland Heights, Ohio 44143.
