29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about May 28, 2024, with respect to a worksite located at 2412/2414 Canter Lane, Green Bay, WI 54304, employees were exposed to eye hazards from flying particles while using pneumatic nail guns to install asphalt shingles on a residential roof without any form of eye protection.
