29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Use. Scaffolds and scaffold components shall be inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity. a) On or about May 16, 2024, Weidenbein Enterprises, Inc. did not ensure the tubular welded scaffolding system scaffolding components were inspected for visible defects by a designated competent person before each work shift in that the tubular welded scaffold located on the East Wall of 600 Buckskin Trail Xenia, OH 45385 was not fully planked, had a damaged ladder where the side rails were bent, the scaffold was not tied into the structure over 20' from ground, and had guardrails missing where employees were laying brick at approximately 18 feet from the ground.
