29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a) On or about May 7, 2024 the employer did not conduct annual periodic inspections of the energy control procedures including energy control procedures established for the equipment located on Line 30 Extruder. Due to no periodic inspections of the procedures it was not addressed that authorized employees were not isolating the piping system that contained pressurized hot water prior to disconnecting the palletizer motor on the line to change blades.
