29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a. Located at the job site at 3326 Wittinghill Court, Delaware, Ohio 43015: On or about April 1, 2024, an employee was operating a pneumatic nail gun while sheathing the roof of the two-story residential home without utilizing eye protection and was thereby exposed to struck-by hazards associated with nails and wood particles. b. Located at the job site at 3326 Wittinghill Court, Delaware, Ohio 43015: On or about April 1, 2024, employees were operating portable circular saws to cut down wooden materials to size without utilizing eye protection and were thereby exposed to struck-by hazards associated with wood and wooden particles. Yadaicela Construction LLC was previously cited under the name Yadaicela General Construction LLC for a Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1618062, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 6015 Peck Lane, New Albany, Ohio 43054.
