29 CFR 1910.179(m)(1): Thorough monthly inspections of rope conditions, with a certification record which includes the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection, and an identifier of the ropes, were not performed: a) On or about 02/20/2024; at 11 and 30 Simonds St., and 465 Ohio St., Lockport NY; the employer did not conduct a monthly inspection of 5-TON Detroit # 148187, 5 TON Detroit # 3362310, TON Detroit, 3 TON Acco-Wright, 5 TON Detroit #146937, 5 TON Detroit #146936, 3 TON R+M 148084, 2 TON R+M, 3 TON R+M #1715919401, 10 TON Yale cranes' running ropes with the required written certification. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards in case of ropes failures. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
