29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8): The employer did not ensure that ladders are used only for the purposes for which they were designed. a) Warehouse - On or about November 21, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the employee used a Werner, Model NXT1A10, 10-foot fiberglass single sided step ladder in the closed position leaned against the shelfing for accessing a metal rack system shelf approximately 6 feet 4 inches from the ground to retrieve products.
