29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): On or about November 3, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards, on a residential construction site in Savoy, Illinois, and the employer did not have a competent person conducting frequent and periodic safety inspections at the construction site. JUAN ROBERTO MARTINEZ-ORTIZ WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1614235, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2022, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 4058 LEGENDS DRIVE, CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS 61822.
