29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: 1 Cudworth Rd, Webster, MA: On and before November 1, 2023, employees who set up and did minor servicing activities on machines, including the Homag Panel Saw and NorthTech Up-cut Saw, were not trained on the machine specific energy control procedures that directed the required energy control steps. On October 27, 2023, an authorized employee received fingertip amputation injuries while unclogging the vacuum port inside the NorthTech Up-cut Saw without having been trained on the energy control procedure.
