29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): Periodic inspection. The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a) On or before August 30, 2023, the employer failed to ensure that periodic inspections were conducted at least annually on the Lockout/Tagout Permit that was used by authorized employees for the Packout Station in Room 36. b) On or before November 16, 2023, the employer failed to ensure that periodic inspections were conducted at least annually on the Lockout/Tagout Permit that was used by authorized employee for the Ball Mills in Room 21.
