29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: a) 1 Orchard Beach Road, Bronx, NY - Orchard Beach Pavilion - South Loggia - Vestibule Ceiling: On or about 7/13/23, two employees performing manual demolition of the ceiling were required to wear an N95 respirator and were not provided a respirator fit test prior to using the respirator. Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
