29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a. Located at the job site located at 1100 Mediterranean Avenue, Columbus, Ohio: On or about June 28, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not instruct employees in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize the hazards such as, but not limited to, operating power tools exposed to struck-by hazards and working at heights exposed to fall hazards associated with roofing and hotel remodeling work.
