29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that the floor of each workroom was maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition: (a)American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fire or explosive hazards in that excess combustible dust accumulations were discovered on the floor and walkways near the powder coat booth Additionally, and an open flame ignition source was discovered in this area. This condition exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards.
