29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer shall establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided in this paragraph by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels. On or about May 17, 2023, an audiometric testing program was not established and maintained by making audiometric testing available for instances such as, but not limited to: a) A Miscellaneous Assembler working the position of Line 4 Auto Team A Stapler, was exposed to noise at 124% of the permissible daily dose, or an average sound level of 92.3 dBA, as measured over 436 minutes of sampling. This dose is equivalent to an 8-hour TWA exposure of 91.6 dBA accounting for the period of 44 minutes unmonitored. b) A Miscellaneous Assembler working the position of Line 1 Press Operator, was exposed to noise at 78.5% of the permissible daily dose, or an average sound level of 89.1 dBA, as measured over 424 minutes of sampling. The dose is equivalent to an 8-hour TWA exposure of 88.3 dBA accounting for the period of 56 minutes unmonitored.
