29 CFR 1926.502(d)(15): Anchorage used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment shall be independent of any anchorage being used to support or suspend platforms and capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN) per employee attached Rooftop: On or about April 20, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards while re-roofing an asphalt shingle roof with a free fall distance of 17 feet to the ground, due to a single anchorage point being used to attach two employees' personal fall arrest systems that was not rated to support at least 5000 pounds per employee.
