29 CFR 1910.28(b)(15): Except as provided elsewhere in this section or by other subparts of this part, the employer did not ensure each employee on a walking-working surface 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one of the systems listed in 1910.28(b)(15)(i)-(iii). (a)Global Harvest Foods, LLC 201 at North Richmond Street, Roscoe, SD 57471: On or about and at times prior to April 12, 2023, the employer did not ensure that adequate fall protection was provided on the hand powered man-lift. Employees used the hand powered man-lift to gain access to upper levels of the elevator and the platform was not enclosed on the sides not used for entrance. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.
