29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1):The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment: a. On or about April 4, 2023, the employer failed to provide training on the personal protective equipment employees were required to use when being exposed to hazardous chemicals in areas in the workplace such as, but not limited to, Bus Threads department, Powder Coating department and the forklift battery servicing area. Employees were exposed to potential skin and eye damage; and other serious health hazards while working with hazardous chemicals containing sulfuric acid, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and barium sulfate.
