29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3): Operator training. Training program content. Powered industrial truck operators shall receive initial training in the following topics, except in topics which the employer can demonstrate are not applicable to safe operation of the truck in the employer's workplace. (ii) Workplace-related topics: (E): Narrow aisles and other restricted places where the vehicle will be operated a) On or before March 20, 2023, the employer had not provided adequate training in the language that they understood that covers narrow aisles and other restricted places to employees that operated the Tennant T16 Rider Scrubber. An employee cleaning in and around conveyers on the Tennant T16 Scrubber struck a conveyer located on the 4th floor that was 59" in height and an employee was lodged between the scrubber and the conveyer.
