29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(D):Specific requirements for testing a machine or equipment to determine and verify the effectiveness of lockout devices, tagout devices, and other energy control measures. On or about March 8, 2023, the employer did not ensure developed and documented machine procedures for utilizing the control of hazardous electric and pneumatic (air) energy sources of the DMG Mori CNC Multi-Spindle Lathe Machine, known as the Swiss 2 Machine, included specific requirements for testing the Swiss 2 Machine to determine and verify the effectiveness of the lockout devices and/or other energy control devices.
