29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented, and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a) On February 11, 2023, and at times prior, at the 99 Cents Katy facility, the employer did not utilize an energy control procedure before employees opened a refrigeration piping system, exposing employees to the toxic hazards of ammonia.
