29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6): The employer did not provide training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i) through (q)(6)(v) for employees who participated in or were expected to participate in emergency response: a) Rocky Mountain Metal Container - Chemical Process Area (Building 32): On or about January 23, 2023 and at times prior, employees on the Chemical Process team were exposed to chemical inhalation and skin corrosion hazards. The employer failed to provide chemical hazard training to employees required to clean up and evaluate Hydrofluoric acid, Sulfuric acid, and other chemical spills in the Chemical Process area. Members of the Chemical Specialist Team were required to participate in response activities and clean up "minor" spills and leaks.
