29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): A) Samuel Stamping Technologies, LLC, on or about January 20, 2023 at the address of 1760 Broadway Road, Hermitage, PA: Employees operating the Make/model: coil tech 48 Inch Cincinnati slitter machine are not protected by guarding at the infeed side of the point of operation. Employees are exposed point of operation hazards on the infeed side of the point of operation without any type of guard to prevent employees from accessing slitter blades. B) Samuel Stamping Technologies, LLC, on or about January 20, 2023 at the address of 1760 Broadway Road, Hermitage, PA: Employees are exposed to amputation hazards on the Herra-Voss cut to length 60 inch line, on the outfeed side of the point of operation. The point of operations on the West side of the machine is unguarded allowing employees to access the point of operation on the shear.
