29 CFR 1926.850(g):Wall openings in a structure being demolished were not protected to a height of approximately 42 inches: a. 5th floor of building 4 - On or about July 7, 2022, an employee performing structural cuts to the wall was exposed to a fall hazard of 35 feet from a wall opening that was not protected to a height of 42 inches or the use of alternative fall protection measures as found within Subpart M of 29 CFR 1926. b. 6th floor of building 4 - On or about July 7, 2022 employees performing structural cuts to the wall was exposed to a fall hazard of 44 feet from a wall opening that was not protected to a height of 42 inches or the use of alternative fall protection measures as found within Subpart M of 29 CFR 1926. c. 4th floor of building 4 - On or about July 7, 2022 employees performing structural cuts to the wall was exposed to a fall hazard of 26 feet from a wall opening that was not protected to a height of 42 inches or the use of alternative fall protection measures as found within Subpart M of 29 CFR 1926. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
