29 CFR 1926.62(f)(3)(i)(A):The employer did not select, and provide to employees, the appropriate respirators as specified in 29 CFR 1910.134(d)(3)(i)(A): a) Route 322 & Oaks Road, South Dayton, NY - On or about 6/2/2022 through 6/8/2022, the employer did not select, and provide employees performing torch cutting operations of surfaces contaminated with lead based paint with the appropriate respirator as specified in 29 CFR 1910.134(d)(3)(i)(A). Employees were provided half-mask air-purifying respirators with an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 10 while performing the torch burning operation, prior to and during the performance of an exposure assessment, which required a respirator having an APF in excess of 50, per 29 CFR 1926.62(D)(2)(iv). ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
