29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) On or about June 14, 2022, UK Abrasives Inc. dba Diamond Composite Technology, did not ensure that employees in blending and mixing operations and in the laboratory, who were required to use 3M half face 6000 series respirators and Moldex 2200 N95 respirators, were medically evaluated to determine their ability to wear the respirators. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19 (d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstration that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records
