29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) are not kept free and unobstructed: a. The employer does not ensure the exit routes in the stock room is kept clear and unobstructed. This occurred on June 8, 2022, at 4840 W. 211th St., Matteson, IL 60443, employees are exposed to injuries in the event of an emergency from boxes, merchandise, and product carts (U-boats) that are blocking egress routes. The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1452332, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 17, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1407 N. Veterans Pkwy Ste 7, Bloomington, IL 61701.
