29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked, or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: (a) This violation occurred on or before April 6, 2022, in the back storeroom; boxed product had been piled up and was not stacked, blocked, interlocked, or limited in height so that it was stable, exposing employees to a struck-by hazard should they topple over. (b) This violation occurred on or before April 6, 2022, on U-boats located throughout the store; boxed product had been piled up and was not stacked, blocked, interlocked, or limited in height so that it was stable, exposing employees to a struck-by hazard should they topple over. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a double-repeat serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1438186, citation number 2, item number 3, group a, and was affirmed as a final order on April 16, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4428 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a triple-repeat serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1399905, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on April 19, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1914 South Main St., Weatherford, TX 76086.
