29 CFR 1910.107(d)(3): The spray booth did not have an independent exhaust duct system discharging to the exterior of the building: (a) Building 1, Truck Body Powder Coat Booth 1 - The dust collection system, located inside the building on top of Booth 1 and used to collect the powder coating (a Class II combustible dust), did not discharge to the exterior of the building, exposing employees to the hazards of fire and explosion, on or about January 25, 2022. (b) Building 1, Truck Body Powder Coat Booth 2 - The dust collection system, located inside the building to the right of the front of Booth 2 and used to collect the powder coating (a Class II combustible dust), did not discharge to the exterior of the building, exposing employees to the hazards of fire and explosion, on or about January 25, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
