29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person. a.) TJ Whipple Construction Company, Inc.; 1015 E. 12th Street, Erie, PA - On or about 2/22/22, and at times prior thereto, a competent person was not on site at the time an employee was removing electrical equipment and related components for a host employer. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
