29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition: (a) This violation occurred on or about January 21, 2022, where employees were working in the new blasting booth and ascending and descending metal stairs with step treads that were curled, damaged, and not uniformed. Employees were exposed to a trip and fall hazard.
