29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i):The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: a) 249 Allentown Rd. Souderton, PA-Line 5 Infeed Conveyor for the Cryovac- On or about January 6, 2022, the employer did not adequately train employees to lockout/tagout the line 5 infeed conveyor for the cryovac. Employees did not control all hazardous energy sources via the use of a lock and tag prior to sanitizing the equipment resulting in exposure to struck-by and caught-in-between hazards.
