29 CFR 1910.213(c)(2):Hand-fed circular ripsaw(s) were not furnished with a spreader to prevent material from squeezing the saw or being thrown back on the operator: Wood Creations - Delphos, Ohio: On or about December 13, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the Altendorf WA6 sliding table saw (s/n 14-05-80-013) was equipped with a spreader device to protect operators from struck-by injuries while ripping hardwood. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
