29 CFR 1910.332(b)(2): Additional requirements for unqualified persons. Employees covered by paragraph (a) of this section, but who are not qualified persons, were not trained in and familiar with any electrically related safety practices that were not specifically addressed by 1910.331 through 1910.335 but were necessary for their safety. On November 10, 2021, in the conference room, the employer did not ensure the employee followed safe work practices such as de-energizing the live parts prior to working on it exposing him to electrical hazards.
