29 CFR 1910.147(e)(1):Before lockout or tagout devices were removed and energy was restored to the machine or equipment, authorized employees did not inspect the work area to ensure that nonessential items had been removed. a.) Teijin Automotive Technologies on or about November 08, 2021, at the address of 100 S. Poe Rd. N. Baltimore, OH: The employer did not ensure that employees followed procedures for verifying/inspecting work area for removal of nonessential items such as tools when removing lockout lock on press 4 robotic cell. In this condition employees are exposed to injuries up to death.
