29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: (a) Atlas Steel Products Co., on or about January 28th, 2022, at the location of 7990 Bavaria Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087: Employees working near the stacker crane were exposed to overhead hazards from potential falling steel tubing without the benefit of head protection. (b) Atlas Steel Products Co., on or about February 17th, 2022, at the location of 7990 Bavaria Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087: Employees' heads are exposed to potential struck by injuries while operating the 25 ton overhead crane to raise and lower coil bundles in the coil staging area without the benefit of head protection.
