29 CFR 1926.62(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not collect personal samples representative of a full shift, including at least one sample for each job classification in each work area, either for each shift or for the shift with the highest exposure level: (a) On or about July 15, 2021 and many times prior to July 15, 2021, employees were exposed to the recognized hazard of lead during the performance of their job duties, including cutting and torch burning (with oxygen/ propane gases) of rivet heads, cross members and upper laterals at Nisqually River Bridge 25.3. The employer did not collect personal samples representative of a full shift including at least one sample for each job classification in each work area either for each shift or for the shift with the highest exposure level. Such exposures are likely to lead to the development of serious illnesses such as, but not limited to high blood pressure, declines in mental functioning, pain, numbness or tingling of the extremities, muscular weakness, headache, abdominal pain, memory loss, mood disorders, reproductive organ harm.
