29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a - 34 Beacon Avenue, Brick NJ: The employer failed to utilize energy control procedures when performing maintenance or when servicing a GMC C4500's Heil dump body, wood chippers, and other equipment associated with the company's landscaping and tree service activities. Violation noted on or about 08/05/21. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
