29 CFR 1910.252(a)(3)(ii): All hollow spaces, cavities, or containers were not vented to permit the escape of air or gases before preheating, cutting, or welding was performed: a) At the facility, on or about July 23, 2021- A hydraulic tank on the vehicle was not vented to permit the escape of air or gases before welding was performed. An employee received 2nd and 3rd degree burns on the arm and neck when welding on a hydraulic tank resulting from a flash that occurred.
