29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(iv): Cutting or welding was permitted in areas before the areas were inspected by the individual responsible for authorizing cutting and welding operations: On or about June 23, 2021, at the location of 5535 Wegman Rd., Valley City, OH 44280, on line 12, die cut, the employer permitted employees to operate a Miller Spectrum 875 plasma cutter in the presence of flammable paints and thinners before the area was inspected and the flammable material removed.
